Organisers of BBNaija have added a new twist to this year’s season called “Gambit”, in which two housemates will play a unique role.
One male and one female housemate will be assigned the Gambit position in accordance with the new format.
The two will continue to be full-fledged roommates and take part in all household chores, games, and activities. They will still be subject to all game rules.
The Gambit residents will not be vying for the N160 million big prize at the conclusion of the 10-week season, in contrast to other roommates.
The Gambit housemates will still be able to win incentives and prizes linked to weekly games and chores even though they are not eligible for the big prize.
Additionally, they will have the same rights as other residents of the residence.

The Gambit will be chosen by the audience. One male and one female housemate are up for election, and the two who receive the most votes will be appointed.
