Controversial Nigerian self-proclaimed relationship specialist, Blessing CEO, has confirmed her son’s passing but denied giving anyone permission to ask for money on her behalf.
Bryan Onyedikachi, Blessing’s second son, passed away lately while she was incarcerated.
In a widely shared video on Friday night, Amira Agiye, CEO of the Isaamira Foundation, announced the development while requesting funding for Blessing.
However, Blessing denied allowing Amira Agiye to announce her son’s passing while verifying the news over the phone with actress Doris Ogala.
Sharing the voice conversation with Blessing Ogala said: “Please oo, if you have donated money, go and collect your money back from that lady. Blessing says she doesn’t know the lady. She didn’t ask her to raise money for her.
“I’m aware that Blessing is almost done with her bail conditions and process, but saying that she’s soliciting for N56 million is a lie. And this is fraudulent.”
In the recorded phone conversation with Ogala, Blessing also denied soliciting financial assistance to meet her bail conditions.
She said: “I didn’t give anybody consent. And I think I’m in the best position to break the news of my son’s death, not an entire stranger.”

In June, Blessing CEO was given ₦20 million bail, six weeks after her remand in Kirikiri prison.
In the ₦69.15 million property fraud trial, the Lagos State Special Offences Court granted Blessing CEO bail on Thursday and directed the Nigerian Immigration Service, or NIS, to impose travel limitations on her while the matter is being decided.
According to reports, Blessing CEO was charged by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on June 9, 2026, for deceitfully receiving ₦69,150,000 from Hope Chiropractic Health Clinic Limited in March 2025 under the guise of negotiating a lease for a property in Lagos’ Lekki neighbourhood.
She was charged with two counts of theft and collecting money under false pretences by the anti-graft agency. But she entered a not-guilty plea to the accusations.
Judge Rahman Oshodi ordered each surety to present a three-year proof of deposits worth ₦20 million after granting her ₦20 million bail with two sureties in the same amount.
However, to continue the trial, the court postponed the case to October 12, 2026.
Blessing, CEO, has been in the eye of the storm since January, when Blessing, CEO, announced she had cancer. She shared a purported medical report and solicited financial support.
However, Xinus Medical Diagnostics disputed the claim, alleging the report was altered and originally issued to Deborah Mbara in May 2025.
