According to Nollywood actress Laide Bakare, when her daughter was seventeen, she exposed her to drinking and partying.
In a recent interview with Mr Lilgaga, a content creator, she revealed this.
The actress claimed to like the fact that her daughter would credit her with introducing her to drink and nightlife.
“I took my daughter to the club for the first time at 17. And I like the fact that in her memoir, she would reference me as the person who introduced her to alcohol and clubbing,” she stated.
Reactions to Bakare’s disclosure have been conflicted, with many criticising her for exposing her daughter to alcohol and the nightlife when she was still a juvenile.

Singer Qdot has described the terrifying experience of being robbed at gunpoint in his home, alongside his official DJ, DJ FAYA.
The artist was severely shocked and shaken by the event, which happened at around 2:00 a.m. on September 28.
In an emotional Instagram post, Qdot shared how the burglars took all of his valuables and how shocked and terrified he was during the incident.
He said he feels fortunate to have survived the catastrophe and thanked God for saving his life despite the losses.
Qdot wrote:
“On the 28th of September, around 2:00 AM, I was robbed at gunpoint in my own home, alongside my official DJ (DJ FAYA).
“It was the most terrifying experience of my life. At that moment, I genuinely didn’t know if I would make it out alive. But by the grace and mercy of God, I’m still here.
“I’m alive and for that, I’m eternally grateful. They took everything valuable I owned, down to the last pin. But they didn’t take my life, and that alone is a blessing I don’t take for granted. I won’t lie, I’m still in shock, traumatised, and deeply shaken by what happened. But I want you all to know: I’m okay. I’m safe now. I’m surrounded by love and support as I begin the long road to healing from this nightmare”.
Qdot thanked his supporters for their messages, calls, and outpouring of love, stating that their support means the world to him.
