Musician Nadia Nakai, who was once the girlfriend of the late South African rapper AKA, has sworn never to date another rapper.
According to the media celebrity, she would prefer a private relationship as we advance, since she doesn’t want to share her suffering with strangers if a well-liked partner passes away.
She said that her experience with AKA’s was awful in a recent interview with Fresh Men Magazine.
“I will not date another rapper or anybody in the [entertainment] industry ever again. Never want to do that again. Want have a very private relationship. I don’t want it to be public because if he had to die, that experience was terrible for me.

I didn’t like having to explain my pain to strangers at the airport. Don’t want to explain nonsense to people on social media. So, I will never date a rapper or anybody in the public eye,” she vowed.
AKA was shot dead by a gunman outside a restaurant in Durban on 10 February 2023.
The trial into his murder is still ongoing.

After marrying singer Mr Eazi, Temi Otedola, daughter of billionaire Femi Otedola, has disclosed why she decided to adopt her husband’s name.
Temi recently told BBC Pidgin that her new status as a married lady was the reason behind the choice.
She underlined the value of personal choice and expressed her respect for women who decide to keep their maiden names.
Temi also discussed the importance of maintaining the privacy of her relationship so that she can create her own story and tell it when she’s ready.
“I’m now a married woman, the obvious thing for me is to take my husband’s name. But it’s my personal choice. I also respect a woman’s ability to choose.
“Moving in silence allows you to build the story you want and share it when and how you’re ready,” she said.
Temi claimed that by using this strategy, she can keep control over her narrative and stay away from outside influences.
Their love story began with a civil ceremony in Monaco, progressed to a traditional Yoruba wedding in Dubai, and culminated in a white wedding set against the stunning scenery of Iceland.
