According to reports, legendary Nigerian musician, 2Baba Idibia, was arrested in London.
2Baba and his new wife, Natasha Osawaru, reportedly got into a furious argument before he was jailed.
This was revealed in a video posted on his Instagram page on Friday morning by well-known Nigerian social critic Tosin Silverdam.
Before arriving at their hotel, the couple began arguing at the airport, according to the driver who picked them up.
Natasha was accused of breaking bottles, which allegedly caused the dispute to get out of hand.
Social media is currently buzzing with rumours of the singer’s arrest when he did not appear for his Thursday, October 2, 2025, UK tour.
Few months after declaring his divorce from his estranged wife, Annie Macaulay, Baba got married in a traditional ceremony to Natasha, a legislator from Edo State, in July 2025.

The Deputy Majority Leader of the Edo State House of Assembly, Natasha Osawaru, paid a heartfelt homage to her husband, 2Baba, on his 50th birthday.
He is “the love of my life,” she said, and she is thankful for the happiness he gives her each day.
Natasha said that even though 2Baba is 20 years older than her, he still appears younger.
“Happy birthday to the love of my life. You are 50!!!!! Oh wow!!!!!! You spaced me with 20 years, and you look younger than I do
“Innocent Ujah Idibia my husband… words cannot express the joy you’ve brought into my life. My joy is complete with you in it,” she wrote.
Only a few months after 2Baba and his ex-wife, Annie Macaulay, parted ways, the couple was married in a private traditional wedding in Benin City earlier this year.
2Baba had already declared his love and plan to marry Natasha, publicly confirming their connection.
In July, 2Baba revealed that a man can’t be s*xually committed to only one woman.
The singer stated this five months after he announced his separation from his wife, Annie Macaulay Idibia.
The shocking development generated controversy on social media, especially among his fellow celebrities.
