Actress Toyin Abraham has responded to rumours that she and her husband, actor Kolawole Ajeyemi, are having marital problems.
After Nigerian social media blogger Bukky Jesse, residing in the UK, stated that Toyin had moved into her newly constructed home and that the couple was no longer on good terms, the rumour went viral.
In response to the story, Toyin denied the allegation in the Instagram post’s comment area and prayed that nothing would lead to her and her husband’s divorce.
She wrote, “Ako loruko baba, Omo ati emi mimo. Ori wa ko, eleda wa ko.”
The actress also commented under Ajeyemi’s latest Instagram post, assuring fans of her commitment to their marriage.
She wrote, “Oko Toyin. Forever is the deal.”

Nollywood actress and producer Toyin Abraham has disclosed that her husband, Mr Kolawole Ajeyemi, had threatened to divorce her if she didn’t quit smoking.
Abraham revealed that she was a cigarette addict in a recent episode of The Morayo Show, but she stopped because she didn’t want to lose her marriage.
Although she acknowledged that she still vapes despite giving up cigarettes, she thanked her husband for his support and influence on her life and career.
“My husband, Kolawole Ajeyemi is one of the best things that ever happened to me. He lets me shine and be me. I used to be a cigarette addict but he warned me that if I don’t stop smoking our marriage won’t work. I had to stop it because I valued my marriage. Well, I have stopped cigarettes but I still do vapes,” Abraham said.
The actress added that her husband is not controlling and lets her do whatever makes her happy, provided it is safe.
In October 2025, Toyin Abraham explained why she is unable to speak her native Edo language.
At the premiere of the Ginger movie, Toyin spoke with TikToker Jarvis and disclosed that her fluency in Yoruba stems from her marriage to a Yoruba man and her upbringing in Yoruba territory.
“I can’t speak Edo. You know I was born and brought up in Yorubaland. And I married a Yoruba man. So I’m practically Yoruba. I can’t even speak Edo – one bit. But there’s no Yoruba I can’t speak,” she explained.
Born in Auchi, Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State, to Edo parents, Toyin grew up immersed in Yoruba culture in Ibadan, Oyo State.
She attended Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, and later Ibadan Polytechnic before pursuing her acting career full-time
