Nigerian singer GoodGirl LA, whose real name is Euphemia Ekumah, has talked candidly about her regrets, familial pressure, and pursuing her love.
The “Early Momo” crooner emphasised that she was compelled to write JAMB and said she had no regrets about not finishing her academic education.
But she claimed she wished she had run away from home sooner to focus on her music career and that she regretted attending school.
The singer disclosed that when she told her father she had no interest in continuing her schooling, he eventually disowned her and ejected her.
“I have never regretted not completing school. Wish I never went to school and left home earlier. That’s my only regret. I wish I never wrote JAMB. Ran away when my dad was forcing me to write JAMB. I wish I started chasing my dreams earlier. But I was 16 and unsure of what to do. However, when I was around 17, 18, I got clarity and absconded from home,” Goodgirl LA said in an interview with Hip TV.

She added, “When I told me parents that I wasn’t interested in going to school anymore, my dad asked me to leave his house. It was crazy. At one point, my dad even disowned me. Then, I left home.”
Goodgirl LA said his family later reconciled with her after she started making waves as a musician.
Nigerian musician Tiwa Savage has talked candidly about her present dating and marriage prospects.
The single mother revealed that her suitable suitors are either married or in their 50s at this stage of their lives.

Savage said that her current situation has left her open to becoming a second wife in a recent episode of the American podcast Air Service.
“If I meet somebody who can really marry me, they are either in their 50s or already married. So, I don’t know. Maybe I can be a second wife. I think so. I could be a second wife,” she said.
Tiwa Savage assured that as a second wife, she wouldn’t be troublesome to her co-wife, stressing that she is respectful and would be focused on work.
“I think I can go along with the first wife and she’s going to love me because I’m not going to be troublesome. I’m going to be going on tours, I’m not really going to stress you. I’m very respectful, I know that you are the first wife and would accord you that respect,” she added.
