In advance of his white wedding to his bride, Jarvis, Nigerian TikTok inventor Hamzat Habeeb Adelaja, also known as Peller, has disclosed that he has enrolled in a private marriage counselling course.
During a recent livestream, Peller revealed that his absence from social media was partly due to the counselling class.
He claimed that he engaged in the marriage counselling to be a better husband to Jarvis.
“I have been attending marriage counselling privately to learn how to treat Jarvis properly. That is why I have not been active on social media like before,” he said.
Peller also disclosed that he has bought a $36,000 TV van for his upcoming white wedding with Jarvis, stressing that he wants it to be televised for fans to view from all over the world.
Peller and Jarvis announced on Saturday that their white wedding will be held on 1 August 2026.
The couple had their traditional wedding in Benin City, Edo State.

Nigerian singer YCee has responded to criticism for his contentious remarks on the country’s current “brain-rot” content trend, which he called the “olodo uprising”.
YCee caused a stir when he used well-known TikToker Peller as an example of what he called the “olodo uprising,” in which Nigerians are increasingly turning to “brain-rot” content for amusement at the expense of edutainment.
He was criticised by some for using Peller as an example, claiming that he could have made his argument without mentioning Peller by name.
In response, YCee stated in a recent interview with Cool FM Lagos that he doesn’t owe anyone an apology for buttering Peller.
He said, “Some people are saying I shouldn’t have called Peller’s name, but I said what I said. If you feel offended, you should check yourself.
A lot of people are also taking what I said out of context. The olodo uprising is even worse than I thought because there are so many people coming out to defend it.
