Popular Nollywood actress Ruth Kadiri has debunked claims of hiding the identity of her husband, Mr. Ezerika, from the public.
In an interview on the Dear Ife podcast by Diary of a Naija Girl, Kadiri clarified that her marriage is private, not because of secrecy, but because she prefers to avoid drama.
According to the mother of two, her husband is actively involved in her public life, emphasizing that they attend events together.
Ruth Kadiri further revealed that her husband prefers to maintain a low profile. She expressed confusion over why people expect her to showcase her marriage publicly.

She said, “We go to church together, we attend events together; my life is not as private as people think. In the events I organise, my husband is always there.”

“For clarity, my husband is not a secret. People who know me, know him. And for me, that’s enough. Like, I don’t know why I will sit down and be thinking, what am I proving?”
Actress Belinda Effah, now known as Grace Charis Bassey, has joined the US Navy. She has also become an American citizen.
She says the milestone was honouring her father, Asido Bassey Effah, and credits her success to faith and Nigerian roots.

Grace Charis Bassey, who turned American sailor, has shared the inspiring news of her transformation from the movie set to military service in the United States.
Nollywood star, who previously went by the name Belinda Effah, took to her Instagram page to reveal that she had completed her US Navy boot camp training and has now become a citizen of the United States.
Sharing a photo of herself in her military uniform, the actress expressed gratitude to God, family, and supporters, stating that her journey wasn’t easy, but she carried her “roots, faith, and vision” throughout.
“Last week, I graduated from U.S. Navy boot camp as a Sailor and took the oath as a citizen of the United States. Nigeria raised me. America challenged me. I stand today stronger and more determined than ever. Thank you to everyone who believed in me. This is just the beginning. In Honour of my Late Father – Naval CDR Asido Bassey Effah.”
