Temi Nkem, a housemate on the Big Brother Naija reality show, has won the 2026 season.
At the grand finale ceremony on Sunday night, she was declared the winner.
Temi now returns home with an enticing N160 million in rewards.
But nine housemates—Aikou, Sheba, Temi Nkem, Flora, Ricky, Oyin, Barry, Tram, and Bluethopia—were present at the grand finale.
The reality show’s 70-day 2026 “Show Ya Sef” season debuted in July with 24 competitors.
BBNaija Season 11 officially ended on October 4, 2026, with a grand finale show that featured performances from singer Teni and Oshamo.

Music executive Ubi Franklin has said the reality show, BBNaija, has lost its relevance as it did in the past, despite remaining a big brand.
Franklin remarked in a post shared on his X account.
“Big Brother Naija reminds me of a massive artist who is still successful, still performing and still has fans, but no longer commands the conversation like before,” he said.
According to him, the reality show remains a major brand but has lost some of its previous cultural relevance.
“That’s where Big Brother is today. It’s still a big brand, but the cultural relevance isn’t what it used to be,” Franklin said.
He called for a rethink of the show’s strategy, saying success alone may not be enough to maintain relevance.
“Sometimes being successful isn’t enough—you have to go back to the drawing board, re-strategise, reposition and find a way to become relevant again,” he added.
In January, Phyna, a former Big Brother Naija housemate, voiced concerns about the reality show’s current state, claiming many competitors lack the skills needed to succeed after leaving the house.
During a livestream, she said several former roommates rely on the same fan base, which isn’t growing and can’t sustain their careers.
She clarified that without gaining new supporters, the audience merely switches their allegiance from one competitor to another.
