Benue Blitz: Alia Unleashes Quick Response Squad to Crush Rising Insecurity

The Quick Response Squad (QRS), a new security program announced by Benue State Governor Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, aims to improve the state’s ability to respond quickly to security incidents.

Governor Alia’s deputy, Dr Sam Ode, represented him during the squad’s formal inauguration.

Personnel from the Vigilante Group of Nigeria (VGN), the Joint Task Force (JTF), the Civilian Protection Guard (CPG), and local hunters collaborate to conduct the QRS.

The squad is designed to respond swiftly and effectively to threats, particularly in vulnerable communities across Benue.
