Nollywood actress Nancy Isime has declared that she can never tell her partner how much money she makes.
On the “Thanks For Coming” podcast, she made this statement when talking about marital limits and privacy.
The actress emphasised the importance of privacy and boundaries by stating that she does not expect him to talk about his wages and that her earnings are off-limits in her relationships.

She stated that, in contrast to most young women, she has never considered marriage, even though she maintains that she sees no need for financial disclosures between couples.
“Tell a man how much I earn, for what? I can never. And I don’t want him to discuss his earnings with me either. I don’t want to know how much he is earning. I’ve no problem with him going through my phone but for what?

“I would never ask to check his phone. You know, when young girls sit down and daydream about getting married, I have never done that. All I daydream about is working, making money and being independent,” she said.
In July 2025, Nancy Isime explained how Grammy-nominated singer Yemi Alade came through for her when she was homeless.
In a heartfelt social media post, Isime revealed that at the age of 17, she would often work late-night jobs with no way to get home, forcing her to walk long distances or sleep on chairs and rugs at event venues.
“Yes, my family was always worried, especially my dad, but I’m a dangerous gyal and it’s best to let me figure out life my way, else the rebellion is quite rebellious,” the actress stated.
During this challenging time, Nancy Isime revealed she approached singer Yemi Alade, whom she had met through a mutual social circle, and requested temporary shelter.
