Nollywood actor and model Nancy Isime has shared her thoughts on parenthood and starting a family.
She revealed this on Tuesday during an appearance on the “Thanks For Coming” podcast.
The media celebrity responded to a question on how many kids she would like to have by saying that although she loves kids, she thinks that loving them can also mean not having them because of certain difficulties and uncertainties in life.

She said, “You know the craziest thing about loving children? I feel like if you really love children, you wouldn’t want to bring them into the world.
“Are you not suffering today? Have you not seen me today? Is earth not ghetto? Are you not going through a lot? Don’t you wish some days that you were not born?”

In July 2024, Nancy Isime explained how Grammy-nominated singer Yemi Alade came through for her when she was homeless.
In a heartfelt social media post, Isime revealed that at the age of 17, she would often work late-night jobs with no way to get home, forcing her to walk long distances or sleep on chairs and rugs at event venues.
“Yes, my family was always worried, especially my dad, but I’m a dangerous gyal and it’s best to let me figure out life my way, else the rebellion is quite rebellious,” the actress stated.
During this challenging time, Nancy Isime revealed she approached singer Yemi Alade, whom she had met through a mutual social circle, and requested temporary shelter.
The TV host stated that Yemi welcomed her into her home without hesitation, allowing her to stay for weeks without complaint.
“I stayed for weeks, and this woman NEVER EVER complained. The peace was too much,” she recounted.
Isime expressed deep gratitude for the singer’s kindness, describing her as peaceful, considerate, and full of positive energy.
She stated, “Many years later, I still have the softest spot for Yemi and will eternally be grateful to her for being one of the bookmarks of kindness and generosity in my life.”
Isime revealed that after gaining admission into the university, she was able to secure her apartment in the same building as Yemi, and their friendship continued to blossom.
She said, “My Padi @yemialade, I dey for you for life!”
