BBNaija Season 10 viewers and housemates were caught off guard Monday afternoon when Dede and Joanna appeared to be evicted in a dramatic turn of events that later turned out to be a prank.
The drama started when the red phone, a representation of Big Brother’s most erratic commands, rang inside the house.
When Dede answered the phone, she was shocked to hear Ebuka’s voice telling her that she had only ten seconds to choose another housemate with whom to share a surprise.
Dede picked Joanna right away, and a short while later, both housemates were told to gather their things and leave the house right away.
Viewers believed the two had been expelled, and other residents were perplexed by the turn of events.
In a startling admission, it was later verified that Dede and Joanna were transferred to a hidden chamber to await additional instructions rather than being ejected.
