Ebenezer Obey, a seasoned juju musician, has refuted reports that he had passed away or had a stroke, calling them “lies from the kingdom of darkness.”
To reassure fans of his well-being, the music legend sang in a video posted to Instagram with his two boys.
Obey was upset over the inaccurate allegations, which included fake pictures of coffins, and clarified that he had come to London for personal treatment.
He captioned the clip: “Stop the rumours!!!! Ebenezer Obey is alive and well.”

Obey explained that he had travelled to London for personal care and expressed frustration over the false reports, some of which included fabricated images of coffins.
“Everything they have said is nothing but lies that came from the kingdom of darkness. I am alive, I am alive, says the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you very much. I don’t have a stroke. I came to London to look after myself,” he said.
The music legend has been the subject of such rumours before. Earlier this year, similar allegations regarding his health that first aired in 2020 reappeared.
