Football star Cristiano Ronaldo is set to marry his , on the island where he was born and raised.
The pair appear to have decided to get hitched in Madeira.
The cathedral in the island’s capital, Funchal, is booked for a big wedding next Saturday, according to local reports.
Appropriately, weddings there kick off at 3pm.
Model Georgina, 32, and Portugal star Ronaldo, 41, who was up in Funchal, are rumoured to have made reservations for the reception at the neighbouring five-star Savoy Palace hotel.
“Guests at the hotel have been informed that two floors, along with several bar areas, will be out of use on Friday and Saturday,” according to a source.
He proposed to Spanish-Argentinian Georgina last August after meeting her in 2016.
The couple was photographed last week boarding a yacht in Majorca while sporting diamond rings.

Before Portugal’s elimination against eventual World Cup champions Spain last month, Ronaldo had stated that he and Georgina intended to tie the knot.
