After a negative picture of herself at the gym appeared online, actress Nkechi Blessing responded to her detractors.
She claimed that rather than trying to impress others with her appearance, she focuses on remaining healthy and fit at the gym.
“I went to the gym to stay fit and healthy, not for a fashion show or runway. How am I supposed to look for a gym after a long day, abeg? It’s well. Una go soon intensify una attack cus na never see anything!” she wrote on Instagram.
Nkechi clarified that although she had originally intended to react angrily, the encouraging remarks she got inspired her to adopt a more composed stance.
She went on to say that, rather than seeking revenge, she has left the individual who took and posted the photo to God, believing in divine judgment.

“I wanted to react, then I read the comments. You really cannot disgrace a woman’s clothes with so much grace. And to you who took that picture, I leave you in the hands of God; He will judge you accordingly”, she wrote.
She added, “Nkechi is trying to stay healthy and fit in the gym is a topic. Lmao. With my big belly with pride. Una go dey alright for real.”
In a recent episode of her YouTube show “Unfiltered with NBS”, Nkechi Blessing recounted how she dated men who were unable to meet her needs.
The screen diva stated that she sees herself as an asset who can meet all her needs and, as such, deserves a man who meets her halfway.
She further explained that her last relationship fell apart in October last year.
In May, Nkechi Blessing confirmed she is single, after the quiet breakup from her lover, an aide to the Delta State Governor.
In a recent post on social media, the outspoken screen star revealed that she has been outside Nigeria for over a month.
Despite her new relationship status, Nkechi Blessing made it clear that she has no intention of jumping into a new romance anytime soon.
“I am single but not searching,” she stated. “I left the shores of Nigeria over a month ago, and I am enjoying the peace that comes with being alone.”
However, her revelation has stirred reactions among fans, many of whom have expressed concern over her seemingly swift transitions between relationships.
