Rihanna has attributed President Donald Trump’s second-term win to voter indifference.
After losing his first attempt at reelection to Democratic contender Joe Biden in 2020, Trump defeated Democratic nominee Kamala Harris to win a second term in 2024.
In a recent in-depth interview with journalist Charles M. Blow, former MSNBC personality Joy Reid claimed that voters who supported Trump for a second term deserved the financial scandals engulfing his administration.

Reacting to a viral clip of the interview on Instagram, Rihanna argued that those who didn’t vote at all are to be blamed for Trump’s second-term victory and the economic hardship brought by his administration.
“Believe it or not, those who didn’t vote at all also did this!” the singer stated.
Despite residing in the U.S., Rihanna is not an American citizen and is ineligible to vote in the U.S. elections.

In August, A$AP Rocky has clarified that he is not intimidated by his billionaire partner, singer Rihanna’s, success.
He explained that he is also wealthy, even though he is not a billionaire like Rihanna. However, he doesn’t feel entitled to her success or money.
Speaking in a recent episode of the Jason CC Show, the rapper noted that he is proud of Rihanna and that nothing can make him insecure in the relationship.
“My woman [Rihanna] got billions; I got multi-millions. Her success isn’t mine. I am proud of my woman. No one can make me insecure because she is richer than I am. It just doesn’t make sense,” he stated.
Rocky and Rihanna began dating around 2020 and share three children: sons RZA (born May 2022) and Riot (born August 2023) and daughter Rocki Irish Mayers (born September 2025).
In May 2025, A$AP Rocky said Rihanna, the mum of his sons, usually raids his wardrobe.
