Tiwa Savage has called her previous relationship with a Nigerian celebrity disrespectful.
The singer said that the unidentified celebrity insisted on keeping their affair a secret in a recent interview with Joe Budden’s podcast.
She called their covert relationship “disrespectful” while recounting how he flirted with other women while she was around.
“I am a public figure and he is as well. He said he doesn’t want us to go public, I said cool is ok. And he said when we go out, I might be talking to other people but I’m just doing it so that people don’t suspect.
“We might be at the same event, and he will be talking, laughing, and even touching other ladies while still looking at me like, ‘Don’t worry, it’s nothing I am just doing it!’ It was happening right in front of me and I couldn’t say anything. It’s a disrespect”, she said.

She described her unpleasant experience without naming the celebrity, which many internet users thought was Wizkid.
Media personality Shade Ladipo publicly apologised to Tiwa Savage for her harsh remarks after the latter’s leaked s*x tape in 2021.
On Instagram, Ladipo said that she had wrongly judged Tiwa and that she held the singer responsible for the situation.
But Ladipo claimed that after giving it some thought, she saw that her response was harsh and out of proportion.
Ladipo apologised deeply and said she now understands Tiwa’s suffering and regrets her previous remark.
She admitted that her response was unsupportive and that she was mistaken to hold Tiwa responsible for something that occurred to her.
She said, “I was one of the people who blasted Tiwa Savage when that s3x tape came out. I’ll be honest. I blamed her. I was like, you know what? How can you be over 40? Cause we are mates and you’re still messing around with people like this.
“In hindsight, I wonder why I was blaming her so hard for something that happened to her.
“I felt her pain. And I just want to say to you, I love you. I’m sorry!”
Recall that Savage raised an alarm that she was being blackmailed over a s3x tape of herself and her partner that made headlines in October 2021.
