Dede, BBNaija season 10 housemate, has explained why she is unable to date her fellow alum Kola.
Despite Dede telling him that she was in a committed relationship outside of the show, Kola insisted on romance, creating a complex relationship between the two.
Dede acknowledged liking Kola in a post-show interview with Ebuka, calling him “an amazing person.”
She clarified, though, that she doesn’t approve of him enough to pursue a romantic connection.
“I do like Kola but it is not enough for a relationship. I do like him. He is an amazing person. I would always sing his praise regardless of what it is. But it’s not enough for what we thought it is,” she expressed.
Dede revealed that she got bored with her relationship with Kola at some point on the show.

Media figure Daddy Freeze has talked candidly about the events of his first marriage, stating that the main reason he got married was because he was pregnant.
Daddy Freeze claimed in an interview with Chude Jideonwo that he and his ex-wife were too young and immature emotionally to get married at the time.
“We had no business getting married because we were very young and immature. I was 24, and she was 22 when we married. She was pregnant. If she weren’t pregnant, I’m not sure we would have gotten married,” he said.
In addition, he considered the consequences of the marriage, such as his tense relationship with his kids, and he accused his ex-wife of keeping him from seeing them. He claimed that the separation had a major negative impact on him throughout the years and that it was extremely taxing.
The marriage felt like “two damaged people trying to make something work,” he said, because he and his ex-wife were both “stubborn.”
