In response to Regina Daniels’ claims of domestic abuse against her husband, Ned Nwoko, Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede has counselled her colleague to end her marriage.
If the claims of domestic abuse are accurate, Jegede urged Regina Daniels to file for divorce from her husband in a direct Instagram post, emphasizing that violence is unacceptable regardless of the gender involved.
Given that Regina is still quite young, she urged her to take the risky move.
“Regina you are still very young, if there’s violence in your marriage, please carry your bag. There is never sugarcoating for me as long as violence is involved (both for man and woman).”
Jegede urged Regina Daniels to prioritise her sanity and her sons in whatever decision she is going to make regarding her marital crisis.

Following Senator Ned Nwoko’s tirade against his wife, Regina Daniels, reactions have persisted. Claims that distressing video footage that surfaced online on Saturday showed the actress in a distressed state, accusing Ned of domestic abuse.
The politician clarified the situation on Sunday by attributing Regina’s outburst to the effects of drugs and alcohol in a message he shared on social media.
Ned emphasises that Regina has moved to an area where she would have complete access to narcotics and claims that the actress needs immediate rehabilitation, “or else, I fear for her life.”
The lawmaker named Sammy, (a supposed brother to the actress) and one “tiny evil devil called Ann” as the supplier of the alleged drugs used by his wife.
In a lengthy post and a short video shared on his Instagram handle #princenednwoko on Sunday, Nwoko claimed the actress was battling drug and alcohol abuse, which he said was at the root of the crisis rocking their marriage.
