Nigerian singer Zlatan and Davita Lamai, his partner, have disclosed that they will be getting married soon.
While travelling to Soso Soberekon’s wedding ceremony with other performers over the weekend in a private plane, the couple made their announcement.
They declined to reveal the date on camera when inviting the guests in a now-viral social media video.
Before the announcement, singer Teni while introducing them, said “so Zlatan and his wonderful wife are going to be having their wedding”

Confirming the news Lamai and Zlatan stood up and held each other as Lamai extended invitations to them.
She said “I just want to extend an invite to everyone. I’d love to have you all there. It will be so nice to have everyone there.”

Earlier in April, Zlatan Ibile disclosed that his parents initially reacted suspiciously to his unexpected wealth
The Zanku crooner stated in a episode of the YACN podcast that he purchased a home for his parents in Lekki, a posh suburb in Lagos, following his rise to fame in 2019. However, they declined the gift because they didn’t know how he got his wealth, which seemed unexpected to them.
The singer claimed that his parents didn’t think he had earned the pricey property solely from his career as a musician.
“When I blew up in 2019, I bought my first house in Lekki and decided to gift it to my parents. I called them on the phone and asked them to come and they were like, ‘A house? That’s not possible. Are you doing something else apart from music? How did you buy a house worth millions in the space of one year?’,” he recalled.
Zlatan said his parents’ suspicion made him feel bad because he was prioritising them while they doubted him.
He said his parents requested time to do a seven-day prayer to know whether they should come or not.
