The marriage of Tanzanian musician Diamond Platnumz has collapsed after singer Zuchu, his wife, declared their separation.
In a post on her Instagram account on Sunday, Zuchu declared the end of their six-year relationship.
The singer, who signed to Platnumz’s record company, stated, “We tried, but Allah has His own plans,” although she did not reveal the cause for the breakup.
While revealing that their divorce is ongoing, she added, “I have finally decided to choose myself and this is a time to heal and focus more on my health and career.
“My husband and I are now separated and going through a divorce. I announce this with a heavy heart. After 6 years of being together, I’ve finally decided to choose myself.”
After five years of dating, the couple formally tied the knot in June 2025.
In response to the news, socialite Zari Hasan, Diamond Platnumz’s former girlfriend who broke up with him due to his alleged infidelity, praised Zuchu for her resilience.

In August 2025, Diamond Platnumz stated that some of his children are not his after doing a DNA test.
He made this known while discussing his relationships with all his baby mamas.
Speaking during his latest interview on the ‘Way Up’ podcast, Diamond Platnumz explained that the results of the DNA test he conducted revealed that he is not the biological father of some of his children.
“First of all, I know I have kids. I also know that some are not my kids. But I don’t want to argue with the mothers because I can take care of all of them. The kids are like 6 but like I said I would do everything to take care of them”.

Platnumz disclosed; “I did one DNA in Tanzania. All my baby mamas love me because I’m good to them. Sometimes their men get mad at them thinking we still have something”.
