After finding out that he and his wife, Mobimpe Adedimeji, were expecting triplets, Nollywood actor Lateef Adedimeji shared his feelings, characterising them as both shocking and delightful.
The actor stated that the news surpassed his and his wife’s expectations in an interview on The Morayo Show.
“It was shocking, but at the same time it was a mixed feeling,” he said. “You know when you are expecting something and it turns out to be beyond your own expectation? That was how it felt. The waiting was not a bad one.”
Adedimeji said the pregnancy made him even more protective of his wife, adding that he did everything possible to ensure she was comfortable throughout the journey.

“You know when you have been hoping and expecting something and it finally happens? It feels like you’ve never experienced it before. I pampered her a lot and made sure she was stable all the time,” he said.
He admitted that the pregnancy was not an easy one, especially because both of them were actively filming during the period.
“It wasn’t an easy journey because we were filming then, and she would never sit down. You couldn’t tell her, ‘Don’t come to the set, just stay at home.’ She would say, ‘No, I will follow you. Let’s go together.’”
The actor praised his wife for her resilience, describing her as a strong woman.
“She is a strong woman. I will always give her that,” he said.
Adedimeji also revealed that he stayed by his wife’s side throughout the delivery.
“I didn’t stay back during the delivery. We were in it together,” he said.
Speaking on the financial demands of raising triplets, the actor acknowledged that it comes with significant expenses but said he remains grateful.
“It is expensive, but it’s nothing to worry about because God keeps providing,” he added.
