Nigerian musician Charles Chibueze Chukwu, aka Crayon, has talked candidly about his relationship with Tiwa Savage, admitting that he formerly harboured a deep infatuation with her.
In 2018, Crayon, who was previously signed to Savage’s former label, Mavin Records, claimed to have introduced him to “Backy,” a blend of illegal substances including cannabis, tramadol, codeine, or rohypnol.
He described how Savage asked if he smoked, and when he said that he did, she gave him the blunt.
Speaking in a candid interview with streamer Caterefe, Crayon disclosed that since then he became addicted to “Backy.”
“Tiwa Savage was my crush in 2018, she gave me my first Backy. She asked me if I smoked. I said yes mama I smoke, and she handed it to me. Since then, I started smoking Backy,” he stated.

Tiwa Savage, an Afrobeats artist, has stated that she has never let adultery ruin a relationship.
The singer and mother of one talked candidly about her past love in a recent interview, claiming that she has never cheated on a boyfriend or ended a relationship due to infidelity.
She claims that she only ends relationships due to serious problems like drug misuse, thievery, or other similar misbehavior.
Although Tiwa recognised that she had been indirectly taken advantage of, she underlined that adultery is not a reason to abandon a relationship on its own.
She clarified that she usually accepts the apologies and attempts at reconciliation made by partners who cheat.
Being a public figure, her calm and non-confrontational personality, she said, makes it easier for partners to stray without public backlash.
She said: “No, never. And I have never left someone for cheating. I didn’t even leave him; he left me. Well, indirectly, yes. Even when they cheat, they’ll come back and apologise. That’s not a deal breaker for me. They get away with it because of my personality. I can’t come online to rant, and when I see them, I can’t react.”
