Famous Nigerian gospel singer Moses Bliss has described how his wife, Marie Bliss, struggled with an unidentified illness.
During his recent ministry at the Mountain Experience programme in Abuja, Moses revealed that Marie’s illness prevented her from breathing.
The singer described how the illness, which was not recognised despite numerous tests, causes breathing difficulties and physical anguish while attesting to the power of God.
He went on to say that prayers were used to overcome the unidentified sickness.
”Me and my wife were in the UK, and all of a sudden we don’t know when the devil came. My wife became ill with one side of her body paining her, the back is also paining her, and before you know it, she could not breathe very well. It became serious that we had to take her to the hospital. And doctors said they don’t know the cause.

“They were doing all sorts of tests and they did not know what was going on and I started crying. I had to quickly rush down to Nigeria for a program.
On the flight back to London, the spirit of God told me what are you wanting for? Are you not going to put an end to this nonsense, to this Harassment. Who are you wanting for?
“So when I got to the hospital I started praying with my wife, and pumping the words of God into her heart. While on my way home, she called me that she had been discharged,” he said.
In April 2025, Moses Bliss broke his silence over his alleged feud with his former signee, Ebuka Songs.
There were rumours of tension surrounding Ebuka Songs’ departure from Moses Bliss’ record label has sparked diverse reactions among their fans.
However, addressing the viral speculations during an interview at the inaugural live edition of ‘WithChude’ podcast, Bliss described the rumours of their fallout as false.
While describing Ebuka as a “great guy”, Bliss said, “
We’re humans, and you feel a certain way if people misconstrue your intentions. But I’m very concerned about impressing God. My intentions are very pure, and everything is born out of love.
“Ebuka is a great guy. I think the world has not seen the best of him yet. I feel like he still has greater years, and with good mentors, he’s going to do even greater things. He is definitely not where he used to be and not how he met us. He is doing good for the kingdom. And he is impacting lot of lives. Seeing just that alone, my joy is full. I don’t care what anybody thinks, I’m rejoicing and rooting for him.”
