Nigerian rapper and singer Okafor Uchenna Victor, aka Mr Real, has voiced deep concern over the high rise of insecurity across the country.
In a post shared on his social media pages, the artist disclosed that he recently had a disturbing dream in which armed bandits allegedly infiltrated Lagos.
He said the dream appeared unusually vivid, noting that in it, the attackers were abducting people from nightclubs and office buildings.
Mr Real added that his concern stems from the fact that many of his dreams in the past have eventually manifested in reality.

“My mind has been unsettled since yesterday because of the things I’ve been seeing. I dreamt that bandits entered Lagos. In that dream, they were taking people from clubs and from offices. Since I started having these dreams, about 70% of them have come to pass,” he wrote.

The singer urged residents to remain vigilant, adding that his intention was not to cause fear but to raise awareness about the current security climate.
Mr Real’s concern comes less than two days after the Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Gani Adams, raised an alarm, warning that armed groups have infiltrated several communities in the South-West with plans to launch coordinated attacks.
According to Adams, the groups are targeting Oyo, Ekiti, Ondo and even Lagos State.
A few days ago, bandits abducted members of the Christ Apostolic Church in Oke-Igan, Eruku, in the Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State, and demanded a ransom of ₦100 million for each victim.
Lawrence Bamidele, the lead pastor, said that between thirty and thirty-five people were abducted during the violent attack on Tuesday night during the church’s session.
Local officials and several family members confirmed on Thursday that the kidnappers had begun contacting the victims’ relatives via their phones.
A few houses have already been contacted by the kidnappers, according to CAC assembly secretary Elder Josiah Agbabiaka.
