All political office holders and appointments in Rivers State have been suspended by retired Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas, the state’s only administrator.

This was revealed in a statement released on Wednesday by the Sole Administrator’s Chief of Staff.

The suspension will go into effect right away.

He claims that the suspension complies with the authority that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has granted him.
