Two communities in Katsina State’s Malumfashi Local Government Area have been attacked separately by armed bandits, who have killed three persons and kidnapped several more.
The assaults occurred on Friday, and security analyst Bakatsine wrote about them on X on Saturday.
The first incidence happened in the Karfi village soon after Juma’at prayers, the post claims.
The assailants killed one individual and took two others away.
Just hours later, the bandits attacked again this time in Layin Minister.
Two people were killed, several others were injured, and many residents were abducted during the second attack.
“Bandits attacked Karfi after Juma’at, killing one and abducting two. Hours later, they hit Layin Minister, killed two, several injured and many abducted.
All the communities are situated in Malumfashi LGA, Katsina State,” Bakatsine wrote.
The authorities are yet to issue an official statement on the incident.
