American heavyweight boxer Deontay Wilder could be among the fighters featuring on the undercard of the highly anticipated clash between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.
The two British heavyweights are scheduled to meet at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on Friday, December 11, 2026, in a contest that will bring their long-running rivalry into the ring. According to Sky Sports, Wilder is being considered for a place on the same fight card, although details of his potential opponent remain unknown.
Wilder’s most recent outing saw him face British heavyweight Derek Chisora at The O2 Arena in London in April, where the American secured a points victory.
Known as the Bronze Bomber, Wilder also shares a history with Fury, having faced the British fighter three times. Their first meeting ended in a draw before Fury recorded back-to-back stoppage victories in their subsequent encounters.
Wilder has also been linked to a potential showdown with Joshua over the years, with the two heavyweights yet to settle their rivalry inside the ring.
The December event will be held at Principality Stadium, which has officially confirmed the venue for the long-awaited Fury-Joshua contest. The main event is expected to take place in the early hours of Saturday morning in the UK, following a full evening of boxing in Cardiff.
