Famous Yoruba movie actor Don Richard has gone public with his health challenges and is now pleading for financial help from the general public.
The actor made the plea on Tuesday evening in a video shared on Instagram by his colleague and Talk to B show host, Biola Bayo.
Speaking in the video, Richard disclosed that he has been battling kidney disease.
“When my wife was told about my health, she started crying. And I told her that ‘another man is a lucky man.’ I begged her to take good care of my children (twins).
“Immediately she left the hospital, she went to dispose of our house and car for my treatment. I have nothing left anymore,” the actor said.
Sharing his account details, Biola Bayo wrote “Don Richard has been down with a kidney in a while.”

In a video posted via his Instagram page, the filmmaker Stanley Ontop disclosed that Njemanze had been diagnosed with prostate cancer and needed money for urgent surgery.

No discussion or whatever. Then you got married thinking that now you are going to fly, and then the man comes and tells you, ‘No, you’re going to sit.’
“See, the signs are always there. Don’t ignore it. Watch him, watch her. You need to have a discussion with the person. If need be, you need to sign an undertaking that you would not make me leave my career. Because did he leave his job?
