Due to Carter Efe’s continuous violations of TikTok’s community guidelines, his account was permanently banned on Wednesday.
His primary short-form video outlet, where he had amassed a sizable fan base through live broadcasts, comedic sketches, and music promotion, has been essentially shut down by the ban.
Confirming the development, the platform said, “your account was permanently banned because of multiple policy violations.”
Carter Efe became famous through his TikTok comedy content before expanding his activities into livestreaming and music.
Earlier in June, Babcock University denied the Carter Efe-related certificate and threatened legal action. A purported honorary diploma associated with the content creator was circulated after the warning.
The university claimed in a statement posted on its official social media channels that the document is fraudulent and did not originate from it. Additionally, it stated that legal action is being taken to find the perpetrators.

Carter revealed that he discussed his streaming career, his friendship with Davido, and the expansion of digital content creation in Nigeria in a recent episode of the Cocktails & Takeaways podcast.
He claimed that Davido’s involvement in one of his livestreams drew a sizeable viewership and greatly raised his income.
