Chloe Bailey, an American singer and model, has revealed why she chose to keep her romance with African giant Burna Boy private.
According to reports, Chloe is dating Nigerian musician Burna Boy. She clarified that she is keeping her dating life discreet to prevent accusations that she is exploiting it to further her career or divert attention from her songs.
During a recent livestream, she revealed this in response to a fan’s question.
“I decided to keep my relationship private because people on the internet tend to take advantage of it to discredit my music career and all,” she expressed.
Following Chloe Bailey’s trip to Lagos in late 2024, Burna Boy and Chloe Bailey developed a well-publicised romance. They were spotted together on public dates and during a joint musical performance.
Although their current status is unknown, reports from 2025 confirm that they dated earlier this year.

The cryptic lyrics filled with heartbreak and regret, came after Burna Boy’s controversy with Nigerian socialite, Sophia Egbueje.
An audio surfaced online of Egbueje narrating how Burna slept with her and didn’t fulfil his promise of giving her a Lamborghini.
Burna Boy reacted to the allegation he posted on social media on Friday, where he dropped a freestyle, singing,
“If you are not getting me, forget about it. I no buy Lambo; is that why you are shouting? Dem dey. Where dem dey?”
Checks on Burna’s Instagram account show Chloe has unfollowed him, seemingly in reaction to the sex-for-lamb incident.
Seemingly addressing betrayal and wasted time in a relationship, she said:
“Don’t know about the other girls you used to deal with, but I do not need to buy a man to give me love to lay with, no.
You are not even worth it, got me out here looking crazy. I should not have ignored all the signs. You wasted all my time, I know you are gonna miss all of the times we had shared. There is only one Chloe in the world and no other woman can compare”.
