Actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has a new project, a blockbuster movie titled “Behind The Scenes,” in the works. The film is set to premiere in December 2025, as she celebrates her 48th birthday.
Expressing gratitude to God for the opportunity to keep telling impactful stories, Akindele described the film as intriguing, captivating, and deeply personal, sparking excitement among fans.
She wrote, “It’s my birthday today, and I feel so fulfilled. I’m graciously grateful to God for the grace to keep telling our stories…
“I’m using this special day to reveal my blockbuster movie, which premieres in December 2025, Behind The Scenes!! Expect something intriguing, captivating, and powerful. This one is very close to my heart, and I can’t wait for you all to experience it.

With a track record of successful films like “A Tribe Called Judah,” “Battle on Buka Street,” and “Omo Ghetto: The Saga,” fans are looking forward to seeing what Akindele has in store for them with “Behind The Scenes.”
In April, Funke Akindele, has alleged that her estranged husband, Abdulrasheed Bello, aka JJC Skillz, is a deadbeat father to their kids
The estranged couple got married in 2016 and welcomed their twins in 2018.

In June 2022, JJC Skillz announced his separation from the actress on his Instagram page.
He said,
“I’m making this announcement to clear the public that we both are pursuing separate lives. We still have issues such as the custody and wellbeing of our children to be addressed, as well as business interests which need to be disentangled but I have no doubt that these will be resolved in one way or the other.”
However, speaking in her latest interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, the actress revealed that she is the only one raising their children.
