Due to musician Seyi Vibez’s recent remarks about her, celebrity Nigerian chef Hilda Baci has threatened to sue him.
Remember how former Dapper Music signees Seyi Vibez, Shallipopi, and T.I. Blaze criticised their old record label, Dapper Music owner Damilola Akinwunmi, often known as ‘Dapper’, over alleged N1 billion in missing money and royalty issues?
Seyi Vibez made fun of Dapper’s girlfriend, Hilda Baci, during the online dragging on X. The singer said that the music executive bought her BBL with money from their catalogue.

Her cuisine almost killed him, he added.
Reacting to the claims, Hilda in a legal warning letter, accused the singer of libel, and defamation.
While demanding a public apology, she asked him to remove the posts from all social media platforms or face lawsuits.
She said, “In light of the foregoing, we hereby demand that upon receipt of this letter, you immediately remove and permanently delete the above-referenced publications together with any other statement, post, comment, image, video and repost.

“Issue an unequivocal public apology and retraction in respect of the offending publications, to be published prominently and contemporaneously across all your social media accounts.
“Within three days of your receipt of this letter, we further demand that you provide a written undertaking confirming that you shall henceforth desist from publishing or communicating any defamatory content concerning our client,” the letter demanded.
Music executive DapperDam has addressed claims made by Nigerian musicians Seyi Vibez, Shallipopi, and T.I. Blaze regarding their interactions with him, including disagreements over payments and contracts.
On Saturday, August 15, 2026, DapperDam responded in a string of postings on his official X handle, refuting the accusations and stating that the records that are currently accessible would prove the truth.
Additionally, he urged the artists to undergo independent audits of their contracts and financial records.
“I will not demean myself by disrespecting the one thing I stand on, which is my love for music. So I won’t stoop so low as to engage in insults.
“I have nothing to hide. The records exist. The authorities have them. Let the process establish the truth.
“Don’t come online and spill rubbish narratives & lies, only to mislead the public!
“You chose to leave! No one forced you, and we are still fine without you! Move on! Stop acting obsessed!
“For the avoidance of doubt, this relationship began in 2021, and it began with me putting money down for your first project before getting any music from you.
