Two years after getting into an online altercation with artist Davido, former Big Brother Naija reality show winner Phyna has advocated for their reunion.
It all began in October 2023 when Davido liked a post on X that called Phyna fans “useless.”
In response to the news, Phyna asked if she had done anything wrong to deserve Davido’s hatred while congratulating him on the birth of twins with Chioma.
Phyna replied “God knows me”, and unfollowed the singer on Instagram.
However, speaking during her recent livestream, Phyna said “I will like to stream Davido”.

Revisiting their online exchange, the reality star who said she’s ready to apologise to the singer publicly, also sought clarity on what led to the fallout from Davido.
“If I have the opportunity to stream with Davido, I will take it. Yea he senior me, he choke pass me normal. I’m going to tender apology to him, but before rendering the apology, we need to understand where that our quarrel really dey come from.

In October 2025, a video of Phyna, partying at a nightclub just weeks after the untimely death of her younger sister Ruth Otabor, has gone viral online, evoking conflicting opinions.
The Otabor family received widespread sympathy after Ruth purportedly perished in an accident in Edo State involving a truck owned by billionaire Aliko Dangote’s business.
A video of Phyna dancing and mingling with pals at an upscale nightclub in Abuja surfaced shortly after Ruth’s funeral. Debates about her behaviour, attire, and the people she hung out with that evening erupted after the video swiftly went viral.
Phyna looked upbeat and happy in the video, as if she was having fun in spite of the recent family tragedy.
The revelation happened soon after the reality star said that her family had supposedly received ₦20 million in compensation from Dangote’s team for the deadly accident.
Others defended her, pointing out that sorrow is a personal experience and that people deal with loss in different ways, while others criticised the timing of her public presence.
