Controversial Nigerian musician Portable lost his celebrity boxing rematch against actor Charles Okocha after quitting the fight in the first round.
The much-anticipated “Chaos In The Ring” match, held at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, came to a dramatic conclusion when Portable withdrew from the competition, prompting officials to proclaim Okocha the victor.
The rematch was scheduled after Portable prevailed in their first celebrity boxing battle in 2023.
Okocha set the stage for Friday’s match by disputing the outcome and triggering the rematch provision.
The fight began at a frenetic pace before descending into confusion, with Portable exiting the ring and refusing to continue. After his withdrawal, organisers awarded victory to Okocha.
Videos from the event have since gone viral on social media, prompting reactions from fans and entertainment enthusiasts.

While Portable has yet to give a detailed explanation for his decision, the outcome handed Okocha revenge after losing their first meeting nearly three years ago.
In April 2025, Nigerian rapper Darlington Okoye, aka Speed Darlington, shared reasons why he lost his celebrity boxing match to singer Portable, aka Habeeb Badmus Okikiola.
The two celebrities fought each in a boxing match held at the Balmoral Events Centre in Lagos.
Portable emerged as the winner after the first round when Speedy could not continue the fight, having suffered an injury.
The rapper left the ring in bandages and had to be taken away in an ambulance.
However, hours after his defeat, Speedy has taken to social media to explain why he believes he lost the fight.
According to Speedy, Portable must have used ‘juju’ (black magic) as he couldn’t really tell what was happening in the ring during the fight.
While Speedy admitted that he dislocated his shoulder because he was swinging wide, he insisted he didn’t get tired.
