Prince Adewole Adebayo has declared that President Bola Tinubu has already “defeated himself” through poor governance, predicting that his administration is an “outgoing government.”
Adebayo argued that the President’s policies have worsened poverty, insecurity, unemployment, and the cost-of-living crisis, leaving Nigerians disillusioned.
He said his principal objective is not simply defeating Tinubu but rebuilding effective governance. “President Tinubu has already defeated himself through poor governance,” he declared.
Adebayo maintained that the daily realities of hunger, insecurity, and economic hardship cannot be erased by propaganda.
He urged Nigerians to focus on policy debates rather than political drama, stressing that rebuilding governance is more important than defeating personalities.
He insisted that his ambition is a duty to Nigeria’s future, not a personal quest for power
Adebayo advised officials in the administration to begin preparing handover notes, insisting that the government is already on its way out.
He further alleged that Tinubu is “divorced from reality” and spends much of his time outside Nigeria, particularly in France.
Adebayo criticised the Presidency’s defence of INEC, arguing that the commission is constitutionally expected to operate independently.
He said the administration’s attempts to distort narratives and silence dissent reflect insecurity and arrogance.
“A government confident in its record welcomes criticism because it provides an opportunity for reflection and improvement,” he said.
He warned that only an insecure government wages war against honest voices while rewarding praise singers.
Adebayo concluded that the Tinubu administration has already lost credibility and legitimacy, and that Nigerians must prepare for a new direction in governance.
