Musician Teni has replied to 2Baba Idibia’s appeal for aid on social media.
Reports that in a short statement shared on his Instagram Story on Wednesday, 2Baba wrote, “Help me.”
It was the first time he had made a public comment since the dispute surrounding him and his wife, Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru, began spreading online.
“2Baba my legend, we’re coming to save you,” she captioned the video.

2Baba’s latest troubles reportedly started in the United Kingdom, where he and his wife were said to have had a heated exchange that allegedly attracted police intervention and led to the singer’s brief arrest.
The issue resurfaced during an Instagram Live session with broadcaster Daddy Freeze, where the pair were seen arguing openly on camera.
The incidents have fuelled speculations about a growing crisis in the marriage, with fans expressing concern over the singer’s well-being.

Shmurda replied: “It is Yahoo in the sense that they [Yahoo boys] have to dance. These people that are hustling, you have to make them happy. Because internet fraud is stressful. It has a lot of challenges.
“The truth is, when it comes to inspiration, you don’t have any story behind it. It is natural, it just comes. It is God-given. So, Cash App is divine.”
Bella Shmurda released Cash App, which featured rappers Zlatan and Lincoln, in 2020. The song became an instant hit in Nigeria and other African countries.
