Popular Nigerian influencer Priscilla Ojo has reacted to claims that she was pregnant before her wedding to Tanzanian singer Juma Jux.
The 24-year-old said they had already been legally married before the publicised Nikkah ceremony that was held in February.
She made this known on Friday via her Snapchat handle, a day after she and Jux shared their pregnancy announcement post on Instagram which stirred fresh speculations online.
According to Priscilla, the Nikkah event that fans saw was just one of many celebrations and not their first official wedding moment.

Her post read, “Womb watchers and calculators, another confusion for you. This was the first time we got married after our private introduction last year. We were already married before the Nikkah we posted — that was to celebrate with friends & family.”
The couple’s wedding journey began with a private introduction in 2023. This was followed by a Nikkah ceremony on February 7 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
They later held a romantic engagement dinner in Lagos on February 12, where Juma surprised Priscilla with another proposal and a new diamond ring.
On April 17, they hosted both their traditional Yoruba ceremony and white wedding in Lagos. Priscilla wore a stunning custom dress by Veekee James, while Juma was styled in a classic tuxedo by Mai Atafo.
The celebration concluded on May 28 in Tanzania, with a colorful reception attended by family and friends across East Africa. The biggest highlight was when Juma gifted Priscilla a brand-new Range Rover, a gesture that sparked reactions across social media.
Nollywood actress and TV host Nancy Isime has shared how Grammy-nominated singer Yemi Alade came to her aid when she was homeless.
In a heartfelt social media post, Isime revealed that at the age of 17, she would often work late-night jobs with no way to get home, forcing her to walk long distances or sleep on chairs and rugs at event venues.
“Yes, my family was always worried, especially my dad, but I’m a dangerous gyal and it’s best to let me figure out life my way, else the rebellion is quite rebellious,” the actress stated.
During this challenging time, Nancy Isime revealed she approached singer Yemi Alade, whom she had met through a mutual social circle, and requested temporary shelter.
