Famous Afrobeats singer David Adeleke, aka Davido, has boasted about his white wedding to Chioma Adeleke in Miami, dismissing negative opinions about the event.
The wedding, a high-profile event attended by numerous celebrities, politicians, and influential figures from around the world, has sparked considerable discussion online. While many have celebrated it as a grand expression of love, others have voiced criticisms regarding certain aspects.
In a recent statement on X, Davido expressed his immense pride and joy over the event, boldly declaring it a “fairytale wedding” and directly countering any negative commentary.

He emphasised that the wedding with Chioma Adeleke was nothing short of perfect, highlighting the continued happiness and joy they both feel.
“We had an amazing wedding, perfect in fact! Me and my wife body still dey sweet us like this. Nothing una fit do, say, or make up will ever change the fact that we had a fairytale wedding and one of the best days, if not the best day, of our lives! The whole world celebrated us!” Davido tweeted.
Music executive Ubi Franklin has refuted claims that he stole a luxury wristwatch at Davido’s Miami wedding.

In a statement, Franklin explained that a jeweller, Benny, had offered to sell him a watch but he declined due to concerns over its previous ownership.
According to him, Benny’s brother later delivered another watch to him during the wedding ceremony, which he claimed to have purchased and paid for in full.
Franklin stated that he wore the purchased watch during the event while he still held on to the previous one, maintaining that he is not a thief.
He added that he has never stolen from anyone in his life, attributing the controversy to misinformation and expressed appreciation for the support he received during this challenging time, as he prepares for his sister’s funeral.
