Popular Nigerian actress and influencer Annie Macaulay has changed her Instagram account back to Idibia, the name of her estranged husband.
Amidst the recent marital crisis between 2Baba and his new wife, Natasha Osawaru, Annie made the move on Thursday.
Without explaining, Annie’s name change and the timing have sparked interest.
A video that showed 2Baba being handcuffed and arrested in London during a furious argument with Natasha was released a few hours before this occurrence.
Shortly after the video went viral, 2Baba was attacked on Daddy Freeze’s Instagram broadcast.
Before the stream ended abruptly, the singer was heard asking Natasha, “What is your problem?”, just seconds before she grabbed the phone from him.
Annie changed to her maiden name in March 2025, a few weeks after her husband, singer, 2Baba Idibia, announced their separation and made his new relationship with an Edo State lawmaker, Natasha Osawaru, public.

Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, aka 2Baba, has accused his family members of always meddling in his private affairs and claiming that this led to the breakdown of his marriage to Annie Idibia.
The singer said that his relationship with Natasha is currently in jeopardy due to family members.
The award-winning singer said in an emotional video posted online that the situation has gone beyond typical family arguments and that Natasha is now receiving death threats as a result of the ongoing turmoil.
He said that his family’s persistent meddling, fabrications, and internal strife “destroyed” his union with actress Annie Idibia.
He warned that the same pattern of behaviour was now being repeated, this time against his current partner, Natasha.
2Baba stressed that he is mentally sound, not in danger, and capable of making decisions about his own life, dismissing what he described as attempts to portray him as unstable.
