Mandy Kiss, a controversial social media influencer from Nigeria, has accused actress Funmi Awelewa, her former godmother, of wrecking her life.
In response to a TikTok report about her falling out with a number of celebrities, including Funmi Awelewa, Papaya, and Toyin Abraham, Mandy Kiss made the accusation.
In reaction, Mandy Kiss claimed that Awelewa and Toyin Abraham had harmed her and emphasised in an Instagram video that she only had problems with Papaya.
While tagging Awelewa as her greatest mistake, she claimed that her godmother “ruined my life”.
“It was only Papaya that I had issues with. Even though I didn’t mean to hurt her but she blocked me everywhere after I innocently reposted a post about her from a blog. I honestly don’t know that she’s the one that the blog is referring to.
“For my ex godmother, that one is my greatest mistake. She really ruined my life,” she said.

In October 2025, Mandy Kiss expressed concern about plans to have her admitted to a mental health facility.
Mandy Kiss stated in a social media post that some individuals were planning to forcibly check her into a mental health facility, which she called an unneeded and unwarranted action.
She claims to be mentally well and only makes a living by creating stuff for the internet.
The dispute arose weeks after she publicly announced her intention to try to set a Guinness World Record by having sex with 100 guys in a single day, a claim that sparked intense backlash on social media.
After receiving criticism, the influencer stated that her remarks were made just for the purpose of creating content.
“Please Nigerians, have mercy on me. I am not mentally ill. I am only trying to make a living. They are using an excuse to take me to a psychiatric hospital. Everything I do online is for content and to trend,” she pleaded.
