The late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, was killed, according to a video that Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi claims he owns.
He also urged President Bola Tinubu to get involved in the matter in a video that was shared on social media.
Fabiyi further claimed that the footage was delivered to him in an effort at extortion.
He revealed that in May 2025, he informed Tinubu in a letter that Mohbad had been “murdered.”

According to Fabiyi, Mohbad’s case file was reviewed by the Force Criminal Investigation Department, FCID, in Abuja, and key suspects were identified.
He added, “Now they want to cover it up. They are even asking the same suspects to write a petition against me over illegal arrests. This suspect wants to silence me because they want to use the video against you.”
