Famous fashion designer Veekee James has announced that she and her husband, Femi Atere, are expecting their first child.
The fashion entrepreneur announced on Wednesday via her Instagram page, where she proudly displayed her baby bump and included a touching video of herself and her husband.
Sharing the news, she wrote: “And two shall become three… Indeed, this is what only God can do.”
The calm and intimate video quickly caught the attention of social media users, serving as the first official confirmation of the pregnancy.
Soon after the post went live, fans, celebrities, and colleagues filled her comment section with congratulatory messages, prayers, and warm wishes.
Although rumors about her pregnancy had been circulating online for weeks, Veekee James had not addressed them directly before the announcement.

Veekee James announced her engagement to Femi Atere in October 2023.
In February 2024, the pair got married in a traditional ceremony in Akwa Ibom State. Later, they had a white wedding ceremony in Lagos with a vintage theme.

Speaking in an interview with Nancy Isime, Veekee said a scandalous claim that she allegedly “snatched” her husband, Femi Atere, from a friend triggered a period of intense emotional turmoil.
She recalled locking herself in her room for two days, crying and praying as she grappled with the weight of the accusations.
Veekee described the episode as her first real encounter with depression, a condition she previously did not fully understand, but said her faith and resilience helped her overcome the difficult phase.
