Rotimi Amaechi, the former Minister of Transport, has stated that he will support the African Democratic Congress’s (ADC) presidential nominee.
If the ADC’s presidential candidate wins a free and fair primary election, Amaechi promised to back him.
Amaechi stated that he will back the ADC presidential candidate who defeats President Bola Tinubu during an X Space event titled “Weekend Politics.”

He said: “In a free and fair primary, whoever wins will have my full support. I will be deeply devoted to the campaign and will do everything in my ability to help ADC unseat this current clueless government.
“I will abandon the coastal road, that road is for stealing.
“Electoral reforms are the lowest hanging fruits for me if I become President.
“There will be electoral reforms in my first six months.”
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and ex-Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, are believed to be interested in ADC’s presidential ticket.
