In August, Prophet Itunu Onadeko, the late Nollywood actress Temitope Osoba’s fiancé, revealed the details of her death, stating that she passed away in a police station in Ikorodu, Lagos.
Speaking in an interview, Onadeko refuted the popular belief that Osoba’s death was caused by breast cancer, maintaining that her prior health issues had nothing to do with it.
Additionally, he denied reports that the actress had been neglected or poisoned or that money contributed for her medical treatment had been mishandled.
“In my own understanding, Temitope did not die from cancer. I received a call around midnight from someone who told me she had died at a police station in Ikorodu.” He said.
Osoba, who died at the age of 40, had previously publicly discussed her fight with breast cancer and her experience receiving treatment.
In response to additional allegations making the rounds on the internet, Onadeko refuted accusations that the actress had been pulled over for driving.
He claimed that shortly before she passed away, she drove herself to Iperu.
Additionally, he denied that she was subjected to any kind of mistreatment or abuse, including claims that she was punished by having urine or faeces spilt on her.
