Afrobeats superstar Davido and singer Mayorkun have collaborated on a new song called “B4 B4,” which will be released on Friday, July 31.
In a post on his Instagram page on Wednesday, Mayorkun revealed the partnership.
He shared a promotional photo of himself with Davido, with the caption “New Music! This Friday! ‘B4 B4’ #Oriade.”
The song is on Davido’s upcoming album, Oriadé. Davido responded to the message as well, writing, “WE BACK.”

The two artists, who previously collaborated when Mayorkun was signed to Davido’s DMW record company, are working together once more.

The majority of the songs on Davido’s upcoming sixth album, “ORIADÉ,” were recorded at home with his wife and kids, he disclosed.
In an interview with Capital Xtra, the 30BG artist said that his home environment necessitated a more subdued, personal creative approach.
Davido mentioned that the album’s approach was also influenced by creative sessions during a two-week stay at Coachella and that producers travelled from overseas to work directly with him.
According to him, the new piece reflects his current state of purpose and thankfulness.
“I recorded most of this album in my house. It was different for me because I am used to recording in the studio outside with my boys with me, alcohol and doing all that,” he said.
“I live with my kids and wife now. I have to record at a low volume. I can only record mainly when they go out—that kind of experience of being with family. Obviously, because my family is there, I cannot have 100 people at the house.
“I had producers flying in to work with me personally. I enjoyed working with them one-on-one. Rather than having loads of people in your ears. That is one thing I enjoyed about this album.”
‘ORIADÉ’ is led by the single ‘I Know Who I Be,‘ released June 26. It follows his 2025 album ‘5ive’.
