Nigerian rapper and actor Folarin “Falz” Falana has opened up about widespread speculation that he had secretly married a mystery woman.
The rumours began after a series of traditional wedding-themed photos he shared online quickly went viral, with many fans believing they were from a real marriage ceremony.
Falz, however, clarified that the images were part of a photoshoot project, not an actual wedding ceremony.
Reacting to the frenzy via his Instagram account, the rapper joked that when he eventually decides to get married, people may not even take him seriously.

He also stressed that he is under no obligation to share personal milestones with the public, adding that while he values his privacy, he hasn’t completely ruled out the possibility of making his marriage public if love compels him to.

“When everybody realized I wasn’t really married, people kept saying its a case of the boy who cried wolf. Maybe when I do get married nobody will care.
“It is bold of you to actually assume that if im actually getting married, I will share it,“ he said.
Media personality Toke Makinwa shed light on her failed marriage and how she found the strength to walk away despite public judgment.
In a recent conversation with media host Chude Jideonwo, the actress and entrepreneur described the difficulties of living through a highly scrutinized relationship while dealing with private struggles many did not understand.

According to Makinwa, people often misjudge survivors, assuming their challenges were not severe simply because they emerged alive and continued their lives.
She noted that society sometimes envies those who bounce back stronger, rather than drawing inspiration from their recovery.
“People like to say it must not have been that bad because you didn’t die. But if someone comes back 10 mins stronger, it unsettles others. Instead of learning from it, they see your strength as a threat. Until you have walked in my shoes, don’t comment on it,” she said.
Toke further explained that the public nature of her marriage ultimately influenced her decision to leave. If the relationship had been private, she admitted she might have considered staying longer.
