Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, aka 2Baba, has spoken publicly for the first time since the scandal surrounding him and his wife and Edo State legislator Natasha Osawaru began circulating online.
The musician wrote, “Help me,” in a brief message posted on his Instagram Story on Wednesday.
This is coming a few hours after his brother, Hyacinth Idibia, expressed worry in an Instagram post in which he matched his message with lyrics from one of 2face’s songs.
Hyacinth wrote,
“You’ve always been ahead, always been brilliant. Lyrics meant to inspire, but somehow it’s unfolding in real time… Painful reality. Allow us to save you. You’ve been suffering for too long. God knows”
The development follows weeks of public drama between 2Baba and Osawaru.
The tension reportedly began in the United Kingdom, where the couple had a heated exchange that allegedly led to police intervention and the singer’s brief arrest.
The issue resurfaced during an Instagram Live session with broadcaster Daddy Freeze, where both were seen arguing on camera.

The incidents have fuelled speculation about a possible crisis in the marriage, with fans expressing worry about the singer’s well-being.
An Instagram live session organised by media personality Daddy Freeze took an unexpected turn when musician 2Baba and his wife, Natasha Osawaru, were heard in the background having a heated quarrel, an incident that has since gone viral on social media.
The incident originated from charges made against Natasha by 2Baba’s previous management team, Kaka Igbokwe and Lori Tosan, who appeared on Daddy Freeze’s live session.
The management charged Natasha with wanting “full control” over 2Baba’s personal and professional life during the show.
They also highlighted other heated episodes, including an airport confrontation and a personal quarrel that nearly required police involvement.
The situation escalated when 2Baba abruptly joined the live session, telling the former managers to “shut the fvck up” and stop discussing his private affairs.
